Alisa and Tim were married at the beautiful Venetian Pier at Lake Lanier. The day started inauspiciously as Becky and I were greeted with heavy rain as we approached the lake. Alisa was a little concerned about it but surprisingly calm and before long the rain stopped and it turned into a beautiful day. Tim and Alisa decided not to include bridesmaids or groomsmen in their wedding so this afforded us a little more time with just the two of them and we had a blast going from one beautiful location to another to capture their photos. I just love the diversity of the different locations to photograph at Lake Lanier – from the warm rustic interiors of Legacy Lodge to the spacious golf courses with views of the lake everywhere you look. Their ceremony was the fastest I’ve ever witnessed by far – and that’s just how they wanted it. I kid you not – from the moment Alisa came down the aisle and stood by her groom until the time they walked off as husband and wife, only about 5 minutes had passed! Afterwards we boarded the beautiful Island Princess for a sunset cruise and reception as the happy couple celebrated late into the night with their friends and family.
Alisa and Tim, thanks so much for choosing us to capture your beautiful day. Congratulations and blessings to you both!
